Terms of Service
Velocitydonum LLC · Effective July 30, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Velocitydonum platform operated by Velocitydonum LLC. By creating an account you agree to them.
What Velocitydonum does
Velocitydonum lets a local business author an offer (a deal, a gift card, or a business card) and lets people redeem it and pass it forward. When a redemption is scanned at the counter, the business is charged a single platform fee.
The single fee
- 15% of the ticket total at scan, with a $1.50 minimum.
- 1% of our share is directed to a cause chosen by the business.
- No subscriptions. No placement fees. No listing fees.
Thank-back credits
- A thank-back is a single-use promise of at least $5 in value, set by the business.
- It is honored in person at the counter on a later visit. It is not stored value, not a gift card, and not redeemable for cash.
- The business that authored it is responsible for honoring it.
Payments and payouts
Payments are processed by Stripe. Businesses receive funds directly through their own connected Stripe account. Velocitydonum does not hold merchant funds.
Text messages
If you provide a mobile number and opt in, we may send you transactional SMS/MMS messages about redemptions, thank-back credits, and merchant alerts. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Agreeing to these Terms does not opt you in to text messages, and messaging consent is never a condition of creating an account, making a purchase, or using any part of the service. Acceptable use
No fraud, no fake redemptions, no automated abuse, no unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velocitydonum LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
